Description
Villa Umakita is a luxury 4-bedroom villa located just north of Ubud, close enough to the center to enjoy the convenience of being few minutes away from some of the best restaurants and cafes of the island, but also secluded enough to benefit from the peace that distinguishes this area, amidst spectacular rice fields, swaying coconut palms and lush forests.
Nowadays Ubud is undoubtedly one of the top destinations in Bali and one the preferred locations within the expat community. Considered the cultural and culinary capital of the island, this charming village is renowned for its yoga parlours, holistic retreats, art museums and culinary delights. Guests spending a few nights here will be simply spoiled for choice.
Villa Umakita offers the ultimate tropical experience and it is ideally suited to host large families or groups of friends looking for a tranquil and luxurious retreat.
Outdoor living areas
The gorgeous tropical gardens of the villa blend seamlessly with the exotic surroundings and feature a generous manicured lawn, local flora, wild sugarcane and even lemons, rambutan and avocados. This space is a tropical haven that will impress both adults and kids, and thanks to the cleverly positioned lighting it is breathtaking even at night.
Overlooking the spectacular surroundings is a gorgeous 12-meter infinity-edge swimming pool. This is the ideal place to relax, refresh and spend fun moments within family or friends. The general depth of the pool is 1.4 meters but at one end is shallower, a perfect kid's area. Around the pool are also sun loungers and a beautiful outdoor hammock.
Another unique feature of the villa is the amazing and elevated multi-purpose pavilion, connected to the main house via a beautiful sky bridge, and offering sweeping views over the paddies surrounding the property. This gorgeous space can be easily used as a yoga and meditation parlour, being able to accommodate up to sixteen practitioners plus an instructor (yoga mats can also be provided free of charge).
Indoor living areas
The main living area of the villa is an airy and bright large space located on the upper level of the main house. Designed to take full advantage of the natural breeze, this contemporary styled room features high ceilings, comfortable couches, a beautiful wooden dining table and an open plan kitchen with white marble tops and modern appliances, such as a double door fridge, an oven and a microwave, along with classy cutlery and utensils.
The villa also has a dedicated entertainment room located on the lower ground and featuring a 50” flat screen TV with DVD player, board games and a well-stocked library. The covered pool terrace even has a foosball table.
To accommodate the needs of younger children and babies, the villa also provides a baby cot, a high chair and pool toys.
Bedrooms
Villa Umakita counts four beautifully appointed and comfortable bedrooms, all featuring luxury amenities, ensuite bathrooms, large wardrobes, work desks and king size beds with top quality linens.
The master bedroom, the largest of the suites, is located in front of the pool and boasts a beautiful stone bathtub in its private bathroom. Above this bedroom are other two, called the Duck and the Egg suites, and they both feature 30" flat screen TVs. The last guest suite is instead located underneath the yoga pavilion.
Staff
The villa is serviced with full-time English-speaking staff to ensure the guest's every need is met. The team comprises a villa manager, housekeepers, maintenance team and a night-time security guard. A complimentary tropical breakfast is included in the rate but for lunch and dinner the staff can also provide simple, yet excellent home cooking with a variety of local and international dishes, at a small extra charge.
Other extra staff such as masseuses, drivers and yoga, cooking or Balinese dance instructors, can be easily arranged by the villa manager upon request (extra charges apply).

Nunan and her team were great! The hospitality and service was outstanding! The home cooked meals by Ms. Indah were also very delicious. It’s a large villa with a very nice pool.
