Description
Villa Bangkuang is an elegantly designed, multi-pavilion retreat set amidst rice fields in the peaceful village of Seseh on Bali’s south-west coast. Just 300 metres from a black-sand beach and a short drive from Canggu’s vibrant cafes, shops, and nightlife, the villa combines serene seclusion with easy access to Bali’s best experiences. With five spacious bedroom suites, expansive living areas, and a spectacular 17-metre infinity pool, it is perfectly suited for extended families or groups of friends. Guests can enjoy sweeping views across the rice fields to the sea, and catch unforgettable sunsets from the rooftop terrace.
Outdoor living areas
At the heart of the villa lies the 17-metre infinity pool, stretching across a large, manicured lawn shaded by tall palms. Guests can soak up the sun on cushioned loungers by the pool, retreat to one of the outdoor lounge corners for an afternoon nap, or unwind in the spa pavilion with a traditional Balinese massage. A small gym is also available for those who wish to stay active during their stay.
Indoor living areas
The villa’s interiors combine modern style with traditional charm, featuring marble and timber floors, and carefully curated heritage pieces. The breezy open-sided living pavilion by the pool is perfect for relaxed gatherings, while the elegant dining area for eight invites shared meals prepared by the in-villa chef (available on request). The fully equipped kitchen is complemented by an alfresco bar, ideal for cocktails at sunset or after-dinner drinks.
Bedrooms
The villa offers five well-appointed bedrooms.
The glass-walled master suite occupies the entire upper floor of the main pavilion, featuring a canopied king-sized bed, a large ensuite bathroom with bathtub and rain shower, and a wraparound balcony with panoramic views. On the ground floor, there is one double bedroom and one bedroom with three single beds, both featuring garden bathrooms, offering a flexible setup for families.
Two further queen-bedded rooms in a separate guest pavilion open onto a covered terrace and the rice fields, each with private bathrooms, with both a bathtub and rain shower.
Staff
A dedicated team ensures a seamless stay, including a villa manager, housekeepers, gardener, pool attendant, and security staff. Additional services such as a private chef, driver, laundry helper, or spa therapist can be arranged on request for an extra charge.
