Villa Umah Daun is a large and uniquely designed 5 bedroom villa located amidst beautiful rice fields, right in the heart of the lovely village of Umalas, within the hip district of Canggu.
The property, designed by Jeghier, one of Bali’s most acclaimed architects, is characterised by a peculiar yet gorgeous style. The compound is made of four interlinked pavilions, all boasting unique curved lines and beautiful leaf-shaped roofs, which ensure all rooms are filled with the natural light and face the gorgeous surroundings.
Resting at the end of a cul-de-sac, within quiet residential area, the property location will offer guests the most relaxing experience. Few locals warungs, bakeries and an health food store are within easy walking distance. The beautiful Canggu beaches, like Berawa, Batu Bolong and Echo Beach, are only a couple of kilometres away; while the vibrant and touristic Seminyak with all its fabulous boutiques, restaurants, cafes and beach day club, is a few minutes drive away.
Outdoor living areas
The gorgeous and well maintained garden of Villa Umah Daun overlooks the bucolic surroundings and will offer to guests an extremely relaxing experience. The beautiful 15 meter swimming pool with shallow section and Jacuzzi, will instead be the perfect spot to refresh and soak up the amazing Balinese sun.
A spacious dining bale with table for 12, bar counter and kitchenette, is also conveniently located just next to the pool, the ideal space to organise unforgettable alfresco lunches or barbecues. Finally, a two-level tree house nestled in the garden and a large roof terrace with bar and lounge area complete the amazing outdoors spaces of the villa.
Indoor living areas
Villa Umah Daun indoor living offers a variety of relaxing and entertaining spaces. The s tunning air-conditioned main living pavilion is characterised soaring ceilings and plush sofas. The dining room is located just next to the living area and boasts a beautiful thick wooden table for 14 and fully retractable bi-fold glass doors that overlook the fish pond and pool area. A perfectly equipped open-plan kitchen with climate-controlled wine room and a chef’s kitchen on the rear, are found just adjacent the dining room.
The villa also offers other amazing and entertaining spaces. The comfortable a ir-conditioned media room with 60” satellite channel TV, DVD player and Sonos surround-sound system, is the perfect place to enjoy a movie or relax with family and friends. In the game room equipped with 40” TV guests will certainly enjoy the billiard and the table football. The younger guests will instead love the playroom with flat screen TV, videogame console and lots of board games and toys. On the upper floor we also find an a ir-conditioned library with leather armchairs, which completes the amazing indoor living spaces offered by the villa.
Bedrooms
Villa Umah Daun counts five beautiful suites, all generously sized and featuring extremely comfortable beds. The master bedroom of the villa is a gorgeous room boasting a large deck overlooking the rice terraces, an antique king-size bed, high ceilings, two spacious walk-in wardrobes and huge marble ensuite bathroom with multi-jet rain shower, double basins and gorgeous bathtub.
The four remaining guest bedrooms are also extremely spacious and airy. They all feature king size beds (three of them can convert to twins) and beautiful bathrooms with walk-in showers and statement bathtubs (only in three of the ensuites).
Staff
Villa Umah Daun is also renowned for its exceptional staff. The team is lead by a professional manager and includes butlers, maids, a chef, gardeners and security guards. Each member of the staff will strive to ensure every guests requests is taken care of. A car with driver is also available daily for 8 consecutive hours (excluding petrol) at a very special price.

5/5Probably the best 5 Bedroom Villa in Canggu!! Super spacious, balinese style rooms with such incredible staff which made our stay unforgettable! The garden and pool area is amazing and comes with private rice terraces views in such a perfectly quit location. Will definitely be back!
